Nearby Things to Do 

The captivating history and fascinating memorabilia of the nation’s 41st president is only a short drive away at the stately George H. W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum. The nearby Museum of the American G.I. shares stories from World War I to Vietnam with fully restored uniforms, operational vehicles, and more.

If you still crave more history, you’re only minutes from the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial, a 12-acre site that honors veterans who served in all branches of our armed forces. The half-mile Lynn Stuart Pathway features statues, granite markers and interpretive panels providing historical background to each of our nation’s major wars. 

The Northgate District, College Station’s most dynamic entertainment area, is only a short walk down University Drive and is a perfect place to catch up with colleagues after a long day of meetings and sessions.

Need a breath of fresh air? College Station boasts 54 developed parks and more than 35 miles of walkable trails. The scenic 523-acre Lick Creek Park offers five miles of marked trails and provides opportunities for hiking, cycling, bird watching, equestrian activities, and nature study.
